The CNG is the French national research center which enables a response to scientific questions necessitating high throughput sequencing and genotyping thanks to the development and deployment of innovative integrated technologies. The organization of the CNG enables optimization of genetic and genomic research on human diseases by creating indispensable links between cohort constitution (DNA samples), identification of the responsible genes, and study of the transcriptome and epigenome.

The Laboratory of Molecular Biology Methods for Genomics (LMBMG) is the interface between the Sequencing Laboratory (LS), the Bio-Informatics R&D team and the Laboratory for the Genomic Analysis of Eukaryotes- (LAGE). The primary mission of the LMBMG is to ensure technological monitoring and develop new methods (and/or protocols) of molecular biology applied to the field of genomics. In addition, the Laboratory has bio-analysis skills that are frequently used to monitor the high quality of genomic DNA sequencing data.
Project to which the Laboratory contributes: "Biodiversity of French soils"
CEA is a French government-funded technological research organisation in four main areas: low-carbon energies, defense and security, information technologies and health technologies. A prominent player in the European Research Area, it is involved in setting up collaborative projects with many partners around the world.
